Prestorika

Prestorika,came into existence during the summer of 2001. The band plays primarily heavy metal/progressive music. The past years have seen them reach the pinnacle of their amateur status. Prestorika now endorse a pro status and constantly tour the country,providing their audiences with a mind boggling set of high energy music. The year 2005 saw the release of some of Prestorikas early works,in the form of an EP,titled Emergence.

Yes, thats true. Lokesh Bakshi, Presto's lead guitarist has left the band.
This is the note he left all his fans with:

Hi All,

Just a quick announcement ...

After 7 yrs of
association with Prestorika as a founder,I announce my departure from
the band,as it is no longer in my interest to go towards the 'Linkin
Park new age' kind of music ,but you'll find me on the circuit in a few
months time with a new and improved heavy metal band (something like
Pantera) that's in progress.

I thank you all for your support all these years and making our shows rocking.

The
sad part is the album in progress will never come out but all the
completed songs will be up on our my space page,and soon for download.

The
Presto community will not be shut down,It will be there so that you can
stay in touch with the friends you've made here and for random
announcements.

It's been wonderful playing for you all, see you soon.

Hi all,

Prestorika has got a new member,who has been with the band from past Three Months.

The guitar player is:-

Vikas from Acrid Semblance (Delhi based heavy metal band)

We appreciate his indulgence with the band as a permanent member.

PRESTORIKA
is in process of making heavy,melodious and totally mind blowing songs
for the album.some of them are recorded and some are not.The band WILL
come out with the album in August and you will surely see a different
side of the band all together.

It's important to be a good human then being a good guitar player.

We found a musician who is a guitar player and a good human being and a friend.
