music workshop/classes

hey.. I ve got an idea which could b a warming step 4 the students joining the society..We can arrange few workshop cum interactive sessions 4 learning guitar.. bass guitar.. keyboard ,drums n other musical aspects..in some or the other form. In this way freshers (or any) student can unleash his desire to learn the instruments (which he might have wished in the past).This initiative could b a very shining step towards improving the music scene in our college.
Seniors n other members can guide other intersted one to learn their desired instruments.Or if all thing goes well ,we can invite some professionals from outside to give thier valuable lessons. And I guess these kinds of workshop have been introduced in IIT music club due to which their rock scene is undoubtly very impressive.
Please post ur view in context of this idea

Its a nice Idea.. HAPPENS ALL THE TIME IN iit'S.. I still remember Krishnan frm Decibel having drums workshop at IITD... And many ppl actually took up drumming after that..!! We should work in the same direction too...

yup shuruat me to fachcho me n rst col junta me enthu dalne ke lia lr n hp ko hi gigs karne padenge i guess.(at convo,mech canteen ya hstl me)....damn sure ppl will luv it...u ppl prformin n v members doin headbangin..pakka junta ko feel aaegi...

n yup aakash sir,bhatt,manu sir n all odr talented ppl if start giving few intro lessons to junta...u knw smal seminar on rok n guitar typ of thin den apna rocsoc will gain heights exponentially....

ya i also feel that this has the potential to
radically change the scene of rock in our coll. thumbs up for this
proposal. and this can prove to be very imp for luring 'into rock' not
only fuchhas but seniors as well.

how about a workshop on vocals too....??? that would be good and all the fucchas who can sing can be filtered...

vocals part gangeyo sir hi karte hai...u join him n encourage singin in fachchas...bt by d way where is gangeyo sir,khitij n sumanto log....invite dem 2 dis place...

the main purpose of this concept is to encourage students to learn something innovative and filter their talent..

and Yeahh... from my side.. all r welcome.. if interested in playing guitar...for beginners... n manu will teach u bass guitar 4 sure..

yup... every enthusiast is surely welcome.. But I doubt initially ppl will be much interested in bass..!!

once they realise the importance of bass guitar ...they will surely turn up 4 learning bass guitar

yaa...bass is heaven yar,....any sng is incmplete widout bass...n any sng can b fadu wid d use of it...

i really wanna learn it...so rite nw jst started wid d knwledge of accoustic 1 wid d hlp of bhatt...will surely wanna learn it frm d god ppl...

n sir rocsoc ke kamai ka bst n d only jaraia for d initial mnths jab tak spons nahi milta is frm teachin intrumnts 2 ppl for some money...bcoz initially money will b a huge factor 2 promote d rocsoc...frm posters 2 gigs n all....
